WI Attorney General Josh Kaul issued the following statement following the Wisconsin Supreme Court ruling in Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce, Inc. v. Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, a case relating to the regulation of discharges of hazardous substances: “This ruling for DNR is a win for the protection of our environment. A contrary ruling would have significantly weakened our Spills Law.”
