Attorney General Matthew J. Platkin and the Division of Consumer Affairs (“Division”) announced that Vivint Smart Homes, Inc. (“Vivint Smart Homes”) and its installation arm Smart Homes Pros Inc. (“Smart Homes Pros”) have agreed to pay $200,000 and make significant changes to their business practices to resolve allegations they engaged in deceptive and unlawful conduct in the sale and installation of home burglar and fire alarm systems.
