AG  Kwame Raoul announced a settlement with Quality Leaders, Inc., doing business as Wilmette Maids, a residential cleaning company based in Wilmette, Illinois. The settlement resolves allegations that Wilmette Maids engaged in a scheme to rob employees of their overtime wages by paying workers at their regular rate of pay for all time worked, including all hours worked above 40 per week, exclusive of overtime premiums.  Wilmette Maids has agreed to pay $350,000 to 62 current and former employees and submit itself to monitoring by the Attorney General’s office to ensure future compliance with the law.
