AG Raoul issued a statement celebrating the Supreme Court’s decision that blocks an unlawful rule that would have authorized the U.S. Postal Service to reject mail-in ballots. 

"The court’s decision is a victory for voters, for democracy and for the rule of law in this country. I am pleased that the Supreme Court affirmed the lower courts’ decisions to stop this un-American rule from taking effect and creating chaos before the midterm election. […] The right to vote is our most fundamental right, and it should not matter whether ballots are submitted early, sent by mail or cast on Election Day.
