AG Raoul Announces Distribution of Settlement Funds to Drivers and Customers Harmed by Grubhub’s Deceptive Business Practices

Attorney General Kwame Raoul announced that drivers harmed by Grubhub’s deceptive earnings claims and consumers harmed by the company’s misleading and unlawful conduct will soon receive financial relief. Under a settlement obtained by Raoul, in partnership with the Federal Trade Commission, the FTC is sending payments totaling more than $23.8 million to drivers and consumers nationwide.

“This settlement was the culmination of a multi-year investigation that revealed Grubhub’s deceptive business practices were negatively affecting participants in nearly every aspect of the company’s transactions.
