As schools across the state welcome students back for the new academic year, Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel, State Superintendent Dr. Michael F. Rice, and Michigan State Police (MSP) Director Col. James F. Grady II are reminding parents and students that Michigan’s student safety program, OK2SAY, is a valuable resource to help keep students safe.
“OK2SAY gives Michiganders a safe and confidential way to share concerns about their safety and the safety of others. These tips not only help law enforcement identify and respond to potential dangers and help those in need, but they also ensure that real threats of violence are taken seriously and those responsible are held accountable. By using this program, we can all play a role in protecting our students.” -AG Nessel
