AG Mayes today announced a consent judgment resolving a lawsuit against Pro Source Supply LLC, Pro Source Vapes LLC, Pro Source CBD LLC, and their owner, Timothy Kell, over the illegal sale of tobacco and nicotine products to underage consumers in Arizona. The judgment, entered in Maricopa County Superior Court in December, requires Pro Source to pay $460,000 in restitution, civil penalties, and attorneys’ fees and to implement reforms to prevent underage access to tobacco and nicotine products at its retail locations

“This judgment is about protecting kids and holding retailers accountable when they fail to follow the law. More than 95 percent of adult tobacco users started before the legal age, and we know how quickly nicotine addiction can take hold. Retailers that sell these products have a legal and moral responsibility to make sure they are not putting Arizona’s youth at risk.” – AG Mayes
