AG Jones issued the following statement regarding the release of the Conference Report for 2026-2028 biennial budget by the Virginia House and Senate last night: 

“I applaud the General Assembly for developing and releasing a budget conference report that provides much-needed resources and new tools for the Office of the Attorney General that will help us fulfill our mission of protecting Virginians. With more than $15 million in new investments in the OAG over the biennium, the conference report provides essential resources to address attorney compensation disparities, support key functions of the office, and create new positions to implement new laws taking effect July 1.” -AG Jones
