AG Bonta, AG Weiser, AG Raoul, and AG Rayfield announce $733 million agreement in principle with Albertsons for its role in opioid epidemic

​AG Bonta announced that, after multistate negotiations, an agreement in principle has been reached on monetary terms that would require grocery chain Albertsons to pay up to $773,787,782.93 to address its role in the opioid epidemic. Albertsons operates in California through a number of subsidiaries, including Safeway and Vons.
