AG Brown announced the passage of a set of bills that mark some of the most significant advances for justice, equity, and accountability in recent Maryland history. In a session defined by fiscal uncertainty and growing federal threats to civil rights, voting rights, and consumer protections, the Office of the Attorney General worked with legislative partners to deliver reforms that Marylanders have waited years, and in some cases generations, to see.
