RI Attorney General Peter F. Neronha announced updates to the Office’s website which reflects new information for consumers of UnitedHealthcare Medicare Advantage plans. The Office established the website in June as a consumer resource.

“My Office has received dozens of calls to date from consumers about their UnitedHealthcare Medicare Advantage plans and continuity of care within the Brown University Health system. While we are not directly involved in the Special Election Period, we take our job as the state’s top consumer advocate very seriously and want to ensure that Rhode Islanders have the most up-to-date information on issues that affect their health insurance coverage. Our website continues to address questions about continuity of care and emergency and non-emergency coverage, and now reflects current information on the Special Election Period. We hope this resource equips Rhode Islanders to make informed health care decisions amidst this change.” – AG Neronha
