AG Mayes announced the creation of a Cold Case Homicide unit within the Attorney General Office. The new Cold Case unit will work closely with local law enforcement to re-examine unsolved cases with resources that may not be available at the local level, applying fresh eyes, advanced investigative techniques, and modern technology. “This unit reflects my commitment to ensuring that justice is not forgotten or abandoned, no matter how much time has passed.
